Baxter Troutman

Mr. Troutman’s roots started in the citrus industry both as grower and processor which has led to other business enterprises. As a founder and owner of Labor Solutions, Mr. Troutman recognized the need for temporary labor as a result of significant growth in central Florida.
Mr. Troutman served 4 terms as State Legislator for District 66 of the Florida House of Representatives (2002-2010). Although Mr. Troutman’s collective responsibilities and other business enterprises consume his time outside of Labor Solutions, he remains active in the strategy development, business development and financial activities on a daily basis.
Holding a BS in Finance and Marketing from Florida Southern College, Mr. Troutman served on the Board of Directors of ALICO, Polk County Farm Bureau and Farm Credit of Florida. He presently serves as President of the Florida AgriTourism Association Board of Directors. He is also an active member of Vistage. Mr. Troutman is also the General Manager of Dark Hammock Legacy Ranch, LLC and President of Chop-N-Block Custom Meat Processing.
Mirca Mercado
Vice-President
Mrs. Mercado has 22 years of experience in the staffing industry. Her employment with Labor Solutions, Inc. began in 2002 as a Customer Service Representative in the Bartow Branch. She steadily worked her way up in the organization to the office of Vice President which she achieved in July 2015.
Mrs. Mercado holds an AS degree in Business Management Technology and has acquired extensive knowledge in the areas of Worker’s Compensation, Recruiting, Human Resources, Accounting, and Safety procedures. She is bilingual (English/Spanish), handles the strategic planning and leadership roles, product development, and executive management decisions.
She holds certifications in Maintenance of Traffic Intermediate (MOT), First Aid/CPR training, and Dale Carnegie Delegation. She also is a registered Notary Public with the State of Florida.
Mrs. Mercado is affiliated with several organizations in the community such as the Florida Staffing Association, the Chambers of Commerce in Bartow, Lake Wales, and Winter Haven. She is a member of the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Polk County, the Florida Nursery Growers Landscape Association (FNGLA), and Troop Leader with the West Central Florida Girl Scouts.
Mrs. Mercado serves as the Vice President for League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Women 4 Lulac – Council 7629.
Dena Santiago-Crutchfield
Business & Operations Development Director
Ms. Santiago has 20+ years in the staffing industry which began at Staffing 2000 which was acquired by Labor Solutions, Inc. in April 2005 where she came on board as the Lake Wales Branch Manager. With her thorough knowledge of the industry, she steadily worked her way up in the organization to hold the title of Business & Operations Development Director which she achieved in July 2015.
Ms. Santiago holds an AS degree in Business Management and has acquired extensive knowledge in the areas of Recruiting, Human Resources, Management, Sales, Marketing, and Business Operations. She assists with the strategic planning and leadership, growth management, product development, and executive decisions.
Holding certifications in Maintenance of Traffic Intermediate (MOT) and First Aid/CPR training assists her in helping grow Labor Solutions each year. She also is a registered Notary Public with the State of Florida.
